The police and narcotics control department men arrested a youth from the capital’s Topkhana Road area for keeping illegal arms and narcotic materials on early Sunday.
The narcotics control department deputy director, Golam Kibria, said acting on a tip-off, the lawmen raided a house in the area and arrested Md Roni, 29.The lawmen also seized a foreign pistol, five bullets and Yaba illegal from his possession, he added.
A case was filed with the Ramna police.
