The Zimbabwe A team will arrive in Dhaka on September 10 to play two four-day and three one-day matches against their Bangladeshi counterparts, said a Bangladesh Cricket Board official on Sunday. The second string Zimbabwean side will come ahead of their senior team, who are due to arrive in October to take part in a full series against the Tigers. The series will be very important for some of the Zimbabwe A team players as they are expected to play some key roles in the senior squad.
The venues for the series between the two second string sides are yet to be decided.
The BCB official however indicated that the Fatullah stadium may host the two four-day matches.
When the Bangladesh A team will be playing against Zimbabwe, the Tigers will be busy with their tour in West Indies.
