Solo art exhibition of prolific contemporary artist Nazia Andaleeb Preema will be inaugurated tomorrow at the Bengal Art Lounge in Gulshan.
The exhibition will feature paintings, drawings and digital expressions by the artist. 22 drawings and another 22 compositions including oil on canvas, acrylic on canvas, mixed media will be on display at the 12-day exhibition.
Chief Guest, Dr. Gowher Rizvi, the international affairs adviser to the Prime Minister, will inaugurate the exhibition. Mr. Enayetullah Khan, Chairman of COSMOS group, will be present as a special guest at the programme where eminent artist Murtaja Baseer will deliver a speech on the occasion.
Noted artist Nazia Andaleeb Preema has participated in a number of competitive art residency programs, workshops and has been awarded major international grants for pursuing her work. She has participated in 14 solo expositions in home and abroad and also enriched her career by participating in 5 Asian Art Biennale, 2 Tashkent Biennale, Istanbul Biennale and Venice International Multi-Media Art Expo twice in 2011 and 2012. Her curatorial projects include several large-scale international expositions across the world including countries like USA, UK, France and Morocco featuring Art of Bangladesh in global art platforms.
Preema is currently the advisor and creative director of Bangladesh Brand Forum and also the CEO of Preema’s Atelier.
The exhibition will remain open for everyone from 12:00 to 8:00pm till May 13.
