There is a good reason for Topu’s fans to be excited as the singer is planning to release his third solo album during
the upcoming Eid-Ul-Fitr festival.
The album titled Aar Tomake will feature 10 new songs, all composed by Topu himself. He has written the lyrics of
nine songs for the album.‘I emphasise on quality rather than quantity; therefore, it took me three years to launch the album Aar Tomake. I hope the listeners will like the new songs,’ said Topu, who released his first solo album Bondhu Bhabho Ki in 2008 and second solo Ke Shey in 2010.
The upcoming album also features a special song dedicated to the acid victims. ‘I have been connected with The Acid Survivors’ Foundation for many years, and have closely witnessed the suffering of the victims of that heinous crime. Keeping these unfortunate people in mind, I have included a song titled Jholsano Mukh in the album,’ revealed Topu.
The other songs of the album include Aar tomake, Ekhane ebhabe, Jodi emon hoto, Phirey aay, Swarthopor, Ek shobdo baaje, most of which are romantic songs.
Topu also informed that the work is almost complete for the album that will be released by production house G-series.
