Popular musical band Chirkut is going to perform
live in concerts in six cities of Norway.
Organised by Norway-based musical organisation ‘Rikskonsertene Norway,’ the first concert is scheduled to be held on September 30 in Oslo, the capital of Norway. Following that, the band will perform in five more cities—Bergen, Molde, Trondheim, Lafoten and Bodo, with the tour ending on October 6.
The band will also participate in a workshop where they will share their insights and experiences in the musical arena of Bangladesh.
There is a strong possibility to record a song with Casa Murilo, a very popular band troupe in Norway. Recently Casa Murilo visited Dhaka, where the two bands performed a fusion together with Chirkut’s popular number Kanamachhi and Casa Murilo’s ‘You and your brother’.
Chirkut is currently busy recording for their second album, which will be released over the internet and on audio CD format during the upcoming Eid-Ul-Fitr festival.
