Under-19 national football team beat Tota Academy 6-0 on Wednesday in a practice match ahead of their tour of Iraq for the AFC Under-19 qualifiers, to be held in Baghdad from October 8 to 12. The Bangladesh Football Federation said the opponent team were made up of players from the second tier league. The BFF said it was a Combined Ekadash side but the players were wearing Tota Academy’s jerseys, which put a big question mark on the preparation of the youth team.
Rene Koster’s team, however, secured an easy win in the match with national team striker Toklis Ahmed scoring four goals and Malek and Faisal netting a goal apiece.
