Brothers Union were held to a 1-1 draw by Feni Soccer Club in the Bangladesh Premier Football League on Monday at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Syed Rashed Turzo opened the scoring for Soccer Club in the second half before winger Faisal Mahmud equalised for Brothers in the 71st minute. After their first draw in six games, Brothers are sixth in the standings with seven points while Soccer Club are still winless and occupy the bottom place with two points from the same number of games.
In a match of few opportunities, Soccer Club took a 1-0 lead in the 61st minute when Turzo picked up
a pass from Rony Islam and poked the ball over Brothers goalkeeper Mohammed Sujon from the edge of the box.
However, the 1-0 lead was shortlived as Faisal received a pass from Jewel Rana before going past a defender and lobbing the ball past the Soccer Club custodian in the 71st minute.
