Bangladeshi club Sheikh Jamal DC will play their second Group B match today against United Sikkim in the 118th IFA Shield football tournament at Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata.
The Dhanmondi-based outfit lost their opening match against Kolkata Mohammedan by 2-0 on Sunday so in order to keep alive their semifinal hope, Sheikh Jamal will have to defeat United Sikkim today before facing local giant Mohan Bagan.
United Sikkim are already out of the last four race having lost their first two matches against Kolkata Mohammedan and Mohan Bagan.
Sheikh Jamal are currently third, behind Kolkata Mohammedan and Mohan Bagan in Group B with the top two teams progressing to the semifinal.
