Two relegation sides, Uttar Baridhara and Feni Soccer Club, shared points in the Nitol Tata Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Monday.
Uttar Baridahara came from behind to secure a draw as their Kenyan striker Collings Tiego levelled the scoreline in the 76th minute after Akbar Hossain Ridon had put Feni Soccer ahead in the very sixth minute.
Baridhara with their fourth draw remained at eighth position with 11 points, just one point ahead of ninth-placed Feni Soccer Club.
Feni, the Independent Cup runners-up, would have won this match comfortably but their foreign strikers squandered at least four easy chances, either sending the ball over the crosspiece or striking straight at goalkeeper Osman Gani.
Newcomers Uttar Baridhara despite conceding an early goal never gave up and fought till the end to snatch a valuable point from Feni Soccer in their bid to stay at the top-level football.
