Gambian coach Omar K Sise is all set to be appointed as the coach of Muktijoddha Sangsad KC for the upcoming football season, said an official on Sunday. Sise, who coached Feni Soccer last season, will replace Shafiqul Islam Manik, who guided the club for the last three years.
Muktijoddha said recently that they will renew the contract of Manik.
‘The management of the club has decided to appoint Sise as coach and a contract will be signed soon once he arrives,’ said Muktijoddha football manager Firoz Mahmud Tito.
Tito added that Sise was requested to bring some quality Gambian players along with him.
Manik, who said that he was yet to receive any formal note of appreciation from the club for his service, is likely to join either Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra or Brothers Union.
