A Slovenian football coach on Sunday met Bangladesh Football Federation president Kazi Salahuddin and submitted his curriculum vitae looking to get the job of national football team’s head coach. The position fell vacant after the BFF served the tie with Dutch coach Lodewijk de Kruif last month. Slovenian Ermin Siljak had represented his national team from 1994 to 2003 in an international level and scored 14 goals in 48 matches, according to his CV.
Siljak also has a UEFA pro-license and he coached Slovenia’s Premier League side, Olympija Ljubljana in 2012.
The 41-year old coach was accompanied by a consulate of Slovenian Embassy in Bangladesh and two Bangladeshis.
‘They expressed interest to work with the Bangladesh football team,’ Salahuddin told the reporters.
‘We took the CV, let’s see what happens.’
