The Bangladesh Football Federation has proposed the name of reigning Bangladesh Premier League champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club for the friendly match against Korean top tier club Busan I’Park, said an official on Sunday. Korea Football Association has expressed their interest to arrange a friendly match between Busan I’Park, a K-League Classic 1st division club, and Bangladesh national team or a top club in Bangladesh.
KFA sent an e-mail to the Bangladesh Football Federation on December 8 asking them the availability of national team or a top premier league club, said an official.
The BFF said it has analysed the proposal and nominated Jamal, who won Bhutan’s King’s Cup recently, for the match on December 27 in Bangabandu National Stadium.
‘Jamal agreed to host the match and we informed it KFA duly, said BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag.
