Bangladesh-India joint venture film Romeo Bonam Juliet and Nargis Akter’s Putra Ekhon Poysawala will hit cinemas across the country today. Due to the ongoing indefinite countrywide blockade, no local film was released last week. But directors and producers will venture releasing these films across the country. Both Romeo Bonam Juliet and Putra Ekhon Poysawala will be released in more than 50 cinemas. The joint venture film Romeo Bonam Juliet is jointly directed by Bangladeshi director Abdul Aziz and Indian director Ashok Pati. The romantic comedy will pairs up Dhallywood sensation Mahiya Mahi and noted Kolkata-based actor Ankush Hazra for the first time.
Other major cast of the film includes Kabila (Bangladesh), Kharaj Mukherjee (India), Supriyo Dutta (India), Ali Raj (Bangladesh), Tulika Basu (India), Partho Sarathi Chakraborty (India) and Nita Mistry (UK).
Jaaz Multimedia, Bangladesh, and Eskay Movies, India, have jointly produced the film.
Nargis Akter’s film Putra Ekhon Poysawala is a family drama. Major cast of the film includes Babita, Farah Ruma, Emon, Shyna Amin and others.
