Arambagh Krira Sangha eked out a narrow win of 1-0 over Brothers Union in the Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.
Midfielder Khokon Das bagged the all-important goal for Arambagh in the 48th minute when Nigerian forward Kester Akon delivered a swirling cross from the left wing as Khokon delivered a strong 20-yard right footer which sailed to the back of the net.
With this victory, Arambagh took their tally to 12 points from 15 matches to remain seventh while Brothers remained in their previous position of second from bottom with 11 points from the same number of encounters.
