In an effort to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay have launched a joint bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
For the centennial edition, which will take place 100 years after Uruguay hosted and won the first World Cup, the four South American countries aim to bring the tournament “home.”

Alejandro Dominguez, the CONMEBOL president, said, “This is the dream of a continent.” “There will be more World Cups, but the cup only turns 100 one time, and it needs to come home.”
Spain and Portugal have previously announced their candidacy to co-host the tournament in 2030.
The countries to host in 2030 FIFA World Cup are expected to be announced in 2024.
