Bangladesh Football Federation on Sunday deferred the seventh round of Bangladesh Premier League to September 19 from September 8 following a demand of participating clubs.
The league, which remained suspended from August 19 to facilitate a camp of the national team ahead of its Asian Cup Qualifier Play-offs against Bhutan, was supposed to be resumed on September 8.
With the new decision, the seventh round will be held in Dhaka on September 19-21 and the next two rounds games will be held in Sylhet on September 25 to October 1.
The league will then take another break after the ninth round in Sylhet ahead of away fixture against Bhutan on October 10 in Thimpu.
Meanwhile, Abahani Limited requested the BFF to allow them to take part in the Borduloi Trophy in Asaam, India from September 21 to October 1.
The BFF was yet to give any decision in this regard.
