Bangladeshi football club Team BJMC suffered their second loss in their third match of the King’s Cup at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu on Tuesday after going down by 1-0 against Laxmi Bank Three Star Club. Pukar Gahatraj grabbed the winning goal for his side in the 67th minute.
Earlier in their opening game, BJMC fell to a 2-1 defeat against local side Thimphu City before registering their first win over Indian side Sikkim United by 3-0 in their second game.
Two Bangladeshi clubs, BJMC and Arambagh Krira Sangha are participating in the King’s Cup, a tournament which was initially known as the Federation Cup of Bhutan.
In 2004, it was named as the King’s Cup.
