Chittagong defender Kaushik Barua made a goal-line clearance in the 23rd minute after Augustine attempted a goal bound backheel on an Ebayed Hossain Komol corner.
Forward Shafaetur Rahman wasted a great chance to give Chittagong Abahani the lead in the 54th minute as he saw his shot went inches away of the goalpost.
Brothers’ Cameroonian Midfielder Germain Kenfack blew away a bright chance in the 63rd minute as his attempt went over the cross bar following an Augustine cross from the left.
Brothers could have taken the lead in the 65th minute but Augustine saw his curling effort from top of the box hit the side bar.

The Haitian unleashed a curling free-kick from the left flank that found the back of the net past Chittagong keeper Shohag Hossain.
Walson doubled the margin again from a curving free-kick in the 83rd minute.
In the stoppage time, two goal-line saves from Pradip Barua and Saiful Islam Khokon restricted Walson to record his second hat-trick in the league.
Meanwhile, the second match of the day between Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra and Farashganj Sporting Club were postponed after 40 minutes due to heavy downpour at the same venue.
