Brothers Union and Team BJMC got the nod from the Bangladesh Football Federation to take part in the Kings Cup to be held in Bhutan from July 30, it was announced by
the BFF general secretary, Abu Naeem Sohag, on Wednesday.
Local football powerhouses Mohammedan Sporting Club, Abahani Limited and Sheikh Russell also expressed their desire to participate in the competition but later decided to withdraw as most of their players will be busy preparing for the SAFF Championship during that period.
Apart from Brothers and BJMC, two teams each from India, Nepal and Bhutan are expected to take part in the eight-club tournament.
