Rotarians to discuss plans for next year

Nearly 1200 Bangladeshi Rotarians would take part in a daylong annual gathering today at Savar to discuss their future course over the next one year, said a press release on Friday. Two killed in city

Two people including a woman died in road accidents in the capital on Friday. At Matijheel, a man died when a bus ran over him. The deceased, Abdur Rahman, 32, was a cleaner at Border Guard Bangladesh headquarters and from Debipur at Laxsmipur.

Residential building catches fire in Ctg

A residential building on Jubilee Road in the Chittagong city caught fire Tuesday afternoon. Sources in the Chittagong fire service said the fire originated from a leakage in the gas line at the building under the Kotwali police station. On information, the fire fighters put out the fire.
