Cristiano Ronaldo set a new milestone on Sunday night in the Premier League when he scored his 700th club goal of his career while playing as a substitute for Manchester United against Everton.
It was Ronaldo’s 144th goal in United’s red jersey throughout the course of two spells at the club.
In an illustrious career, the Portuguese attacker has also netted five times for Sporting Lisbon, 101 goals for Juventus, and 450 goals for Real Madrid.
However, Ronaldo once more started on the bench before replacing Anthony Martial.
In the 44th minute, the 37-year-old Portuguese striker pounced on a through ball from Casemiro and slid a finish under Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
At the end, it was also the game-winning goal for the Red Devils, who prevailed 2-1
