Bangladesh Premier League franchise Chittagong Kings and Radio Amaar hosted an iftar party at a local hotel in the city on Sunday. The iftar was graced by Chittagong Kings’ local players from the inaugural edition of the BPL including captain and Bangladesh team vice-captain Mahmudullah Ryad and his national team mates Ziaur Rahman and Zahurul Islam. Arafat Sunny, Shamsur Rahman, Sanjamul Islam, Nafis Iqbal, Enamul Haque jr, Faisal Hossain, Farhad Reza were some of the other prominent players who attended the programme. Sameer Quader Chowdhury, Managing Director of Radio Amaar and Chittagong Kings, thanked everyone for their constant support during and after the BPL: “We hope to make our presence felt even stronger in the future editions of the BPL and your assistance and support give us the encouragement we need.
‘We want to be the best T20 side in Bangladesh and beyond and our quest for excellence in terms of player recruitment and professional management would continue.”
