Defence completed its arguments against Jamaat-e-Islami leader Ali Ahsan Muhammad Mojahid at the International Crimes Tribunal-2 (ICT-2) on Tuesday. Barrister Abdur Razzaq and Barrister Iman Siddique argued for Mojahid on law points, pleading that the allegations against the Jamaat leader will not stand. Later, prosecutor Barrister Tureen Afroz started arguments to negate the defence’s claim.
The prosecution is expected to place its ending summing up on Wednesday.
Earlier, prosecution submitted arguments against Mojahid for four working days from May 7 to 16.
