The Dhaka International Folk Festival is set to make a vibrant comeback in January 2025 after a five-year break, much to the delight of folk music lovers.
The festival’s organizer Sun Communications Limited recently confirmed the dates and venue, stirring excitement among folk music enthusiasts.
Scheduled to run from January 23 to 25 at the Bangladesh Army Stadium, this sixth edition promises a fresh experience filled with local and international folk music.
The Dhaka International Folk Fest began in 2015 with a grand event at the Army Stadium in Dhaka and continued until 2019. Gradually, this festival spread globally. However, in 2020, the Folk Fest was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
