Four teams moved into the second round of the DRU-Rapid Securities Media football tournament at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday.
Boishakhi crushed Bhorer Dak 7-0, Naya Diganta outplayed Sangbad 5-0 and Bangladesh Protidin beat Bangla Bazar Patrika 2-1, while a 2-2 draw with Ittefaq was enough for Independent to move into the next round.
Amader Arthoniti earned a 3-1 win over Janapad while the other three matches of the day were drawn.
