India made a good start in the 2nd SAFF Under-16 Championship outplaying Sri Lanka by 4-1 goals in a Group B match at the Nepal Army ground in Lagankhel, Kathmandu on Sunday.
Bangladesh will start their SAFF Under-16 campaign taking on Sri Lanka in a Group B match on Tuesday (July 23) at the Nepal Army ground and will meet India in their last Group B match on Thursday (July 25) at the same venue.
Earlier on Saturday, hosts Nepal made a flying start crushing Bhutan by 7-0 goals in a Group A match at the Dasrath Stadium in Kathmandu. But, Pakistan drew goalless with Afghanistan in the other Group A match at the Nepal Army ground on Saturday.
