Laila won the crown of the reality show Close-up 1 Tomakei Khujchhe Bangladesh at the grand gala held on Saturday at the
Bangabandu International Conference Centre.
Sohag became the first runner-up and
Tutul became the second runner up.
Laila obtained 36 marks out of 50 from the jury and 55 lakh 30 thousand short message votes from the audience.
Shohag won 31 marks and 58 lakh 22 thousand sms vote while Tutul got 35 marks and 30 lakh sms vote.
‘As per the rule of the contest, short message votes were converted to 50 marks. And then added with the marks given by the jury,’ producer of the programme Alfred Khokon told New Age.
Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, Fahmida Nabi and Partha Barua were the jury members.
Laila received a brand new Mitsubishi Mirage and 10 lakh taka cash prize. Shohag and Tutul won taka five lakh and three lakh cash prize respectively.
It was the fourth arrangement of the reality show.
Earlier the contest was held in 2005, 2006 and 2008.
Over 75 thousand contestants participated in the primary round of the Close up-1 reality show 2012.
After a nine-month contest comprising of 13 rounds, the top three contestants were selected for the grand finale.
Following the award giving ceremony, the winners presented popular patriotic songs.
The winners of the previous contests also rendered songs at the grand finale.
The programme was aired live on NTV.
