Manikganj district and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan moved to the final round of the 8th Bangladesh Games Football eliminating their respective rivals in the knock out phase finals at the Manikganj District Stadium on Wednesday.
In the day’s first match, Makinganj district edged past Tangail district by a solitary goal scored by Suman in the 25th minutes.
In the day’s another match, BKSP defeated Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology by 2-0 goals. In the day’s match, Faisal scored both the goals for the winners in the 62nd and 79th minutes respectively.
Earlier, Barisal, Rangpur, Moulvibazar, Noagaon, Jhenaidah and Noakhali confirmed their final round berth.
The eight-team final round of 8th Bangladesh Games begins on Friday at the two separate venues – Bangabandhu National Stadium and at Kamalapur stadium.
