Popular singer Monir Khan has recently performed in a playback song for a drama serial titled ‘Poymonto’. The song was recorded under the direction of Farid Ahmed. After a span of long eight years, Monir Khan performed under the direction of Farid Ahmed. The recording of the song titled “Manush bhalo manush mondo, dibanishi joltorongo…” was completed in the last week. The song was composed by the director of the serial Hasan Shikdar. Earlier in 2003, Monir khan under Farid Ahmed’s direction performed the title song of drama serial ‘Ochena Andhar’ which was aired on Channel i. The serial was directed by Tareq Mintu. Regarding their joint endeavor after a long period, Farid Ahmed said, “It feels good that we are working together again. Monir performed an outstanding song in the play. Listeners will surely enjoy it.” While expressing his feelings, Monir Khan told this correspondent, “Farid Ahmed is unique to create a different type music. The title song will surely entertain the listeners.” Meanwhile, Monir Khan was highly praised and earned his popularity with the release of his album “Tomar Kono Dosh Nai” in 1996. The songs of the album were composed under the direction of Farid Ahmed.
