Champs to receive Taka 5 lakh
Giants Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club and Dhaka Abahani Limited got easy groups to ride on in the draw of upcoming CityCell Federation Cup which will start from September 10.
Reigning champions Dhaka Mohammedan, drawn in Group A, probably would not face any stiff challenge as they got depleted Brothers Union, BKSP and new comer Feni Soccer Club alongside them.
It would be easy cakewalk for domestic super power Dhaka Abahani Limited as well as they were drawn in Group D along with Muktijoddha Sangsad who lost their aura, Chittagong Abahani and Bangladesh Police.
There might some possibilities to fight in the Group C, where Farashganj, Sheikh Rasel Krira Chakra, Bangladesh Army and new face Sylhet Beanibazar will battle to move into quarterfinal.
Last season’s semi-finalist Chittagong Mohammedan, Arambagh Krira Sangha, Rahmatganj and new comer Suktara Jubo Sangha, Narayanganj were placed in Group B.
