Mohammedan Sporting Club’s Ghanaian forward Osei Morrison has confirmed that he will join arch-rivals Abahani Limited from for the next season.
Morrison, one of the top performers the last Bangladesh Premier League, caught the attention of Abahani when he scored highest 11 goals and notched up the only hat-trick of the league.
Abahani however was not ready to admit the transfer as the window for the next season not open yet.
`We have a negotiation with Morrison but nothing has been finalized so far. Maybe he will join in our clubs,’ said Sattyajit Das Rupu, manager of the Abahani football team.
Abahani finished third in the BPL and are without any silverware yet in the season with only Super Cup to go.
The club decided to release Ghanaian playmaker Awudu Ibrahim, who is with the club Abahani since 2005, though defender Samad Eusuf and Cameroonian midfielder Yoko Samnik could be retained.
