Bangladesh national football team will leave Dhaka for Abu Dhabi today to play in a friendly match against United Arab Emirates, scheduled on March 18, six days before their last World Cup qualifying match against Jordan in Amman. Bangladesh, who have lost some of their key players like Mamunul Islam and Zahid Hossain recently due to suspension, are currently sitting at the bottom of the Group B table with one point from seven matches. Jordan are placed second with 13 points from six matches.
Earlier, Bangladesh suffered a huge 0-5 defeat at home to the Arab nation last year.
