Netrokona emerged champions in the Walton Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Gold Cup Football Tournament beating Gopalganj 4-0 in the final at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday. Toklis scored a hattrick while Ronny netted the other goal for the winning side.
Divisional Commissioner of Dhaka AN Shamsuddin Azad Chowdhury distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
Champion Netrokona received prize money of Tk 50,000 while runners-up Gopalganj got Tk 30,000. Toklis was adjudged the best player of the tournament.
Seventeen teams, split into four groups, took part in the first phase of the meet.
