Bangladesh Under-16 national team’s in-form forward Sarwar Zaman Nipu was awarded with a place in the national under-19 national team ahead of the AFC Under-19 Championship Qualifiers .
Hosts Bangladesh were drawn with Uzbekistan, Bhutan and Sri Lanka for the Group-A qualifiers, which will be held in Dhaka from October 2-6. Nipu, a student of Kishorganj Bhuiyan Academy, drew attention of the coaches with his natural scoring ability in the SAFF Under-16 Championship where he scored two goals in three matches.
He kept his consistency by scoring against Saudi Arabia in the AFC Under-16 Championship qualifying opener.
