Harry and Meghan Markle won’t spend Christmas with the royal family this year. Although King Charles will invite the couple to celebrate Christmas with the family, they have no plans to visit.
Meghan and Harry don’t have the best relationship with the royals, who aren’t impressed with Harry’s upcoming memoir. His memoir has sent shockwaves and will be published on January 10, 2023.
A source told the Mirror that this book could end Harry’s relationship with his family.
“Everyone is bracing themselves for yet another fraught and frantic period at the mercy of the Sussexes.”
People magazine has reported that in a statement about the memoir, Penguin Random House said the 416-page book will find Harry telling his story with “raw, unflinching honesty.”
They added that it’s “a landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief.”
The book was named Spare and will see him earn a £20million advance, as well as more than £36million for a three-book deal. Publisher Penguin Random House explained that “for Harry, this is his story at last.”
Spare is poised to have a global reach, set to be translated into 16 languages.
“Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is a husband, father, humanitarian, military veteran, mental wellness advocate, and environmentalist,” reads the description of the book.
