The Bangladesh Football Federation on Thursday shifted the opening date of the ninth edition of top-tier professional football competition Bangladesh Premier League from July 15 to July 24 due to Eid-ul-Fitr. The opening ceremony and the first round of the league will be held at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong. The decisions were made during the first meeting of BFF’s Professional Football League committee chaired by its senior vice-president Abdus Salam Murshedy.
The league will be held at six different venues across the country under a new format.
