Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society joined to the top spot of the JB Group Bangladesh Premier League with Muktijoddha Sangshad KC, Chittagong Abahani and Abahani Limited when they handed a 2-0 defeat to Uttar Baridhara at the Rafikuddin Bhuiyan Stadium, Mymensingh on Wednesday. Congolese forward Siyo Zunapio put Rahmatganj ahead from a penalty kick in the added time of the first half before Gambian Dawda Cessy doubled the lead with a long range effort just minute before the stipulated time.
Rahmatganj now have eight points from four matches while Baridhara remained on ninth position with three points from same number of outings.
Today is the rest day of the league as there is no game with the end of the fourth round.
