Once popular film actress Shabnam has recently denied to play the title role of the movie “Khoda’r Por-e Maa” as she didn’t like its script. Scripted by Abdullah Jahir Babu and directed by renowned filmmaker Malek Afsari, the movie was scheduled to be produced by Taposhi Thakur.
The legendary actress, however, was primarily agreed to perform in the movie three months ago after listening its script. She, then, suggested bringing some editions in the story.
With the edited story, the script writer and director went to meet Shabnam in the last week, but Shabnam was not satisfied after going through the story of the film and right then she denied to perform a role in this movie.
While talking about her self-removal from the movie, Shabnam said, “I told earlier and want to say again I will perform in a new movie if only its story seems good to me. The edited story of “Khodar Por-e Maa” didn’t seem good and unique to me. That’s why, I took off myself from performing in this movie.”
“Still the viewers and critics praise and inspire me for my performance in the movie ‘Aammajaan’ and I don’t like to lose their respect by performing in such a film”, she opined.
Meanwhile, another once popular heroine Bobita is supposed to play the title role in the movie since Shabnam has withdrawn herself. Among others, Shakib Khan, Sahara and Misha Shawdagar will play several roles in the movie.
