Off-spinner Sohag Gazi returned home on Saturday after completing his bio-mechanical test at the Cardiff University in Wales and was confident of a positive result.
The spinner was reported for suspect bowling action by the International Cricket Council during their second one-day international match against West Indies in the just concluded series.
Sohag, who underwent his tests in Cardiff on Friday, said that the ICC will announce the outcome of the test within 14-20 days.
‘I am confident that there won’t be any problem. They [panel] told me that it was quite fine,’ Sohag told reporters after his arrival from London. Sohag bowled six overs during the test.
‘They even asked me whether I have had any congenital defect. At the end, it seemed they were satisfied and asked me not to worry,’ said the all-rounder from Barisal.
