The Football Association of Thailand on Thursday confirmed the dates for the Bangladesh national football team’s tour of Thailand, where the team will play two international friendlies against the hosts.
`The team will leave on July 28 and return home on August 5. We expect to play two practice matches against the Thailand national team,’ said BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag.
However, the exact dates for the fixtures, planned as a part of the national team’s
preparation for the SAFF Championship, have yet to be finalised.
‘The dates of the matches have not been fixed yet. We sent a letter on behalf of the BFF to the FAT to confirm the fixtures,’ Shohag added.
The national team will play their seventh practice match on Saturday, one day before they leave Dhaka for Thailand. They had a swimming session on Thursday and will enjoy a rest day today before Saturday’s warm-up match.
