Officials violate by-laws in MSC-Rahmatganj match

Match referee Jalaluddin and match commissioner Rafiqul Alam on Saturday appears to have violated the by-laws of the Bangladesh Premier League while officiating the match between Mohammedan SC and Rahmatganj MFS which had been abandoned due to heavy downpour on Friday. According to the clause 7.1.4 of the by-laws provided by the Bangladesh Football Federation,

MSC clinch women’s cricket title

Schweichler out to improve keepers

Rain washes away BPL matches

Due to heavy downpour the two matches of the Bangladesh Premier League were abandoned on Friday. The first match at the Bangabandhu National Stadium between Mohammedan Sporting Club and Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society started at 4:45pm but it was stopped after just seven minutes. The surface became so unplayable that match couldn’t be resumed.
