Model turned actor Nobel will play the lead role in tele-film Jodi Bhalo Na Laage To Diyona Mon, based on recently demised iconic litterateur and dramatist Humayun Ahmed’s last script that features a triangular love.
Nobel will play the role of the husband of a female model [Purnima] in the tele-film. But, the family goes through a crisis as his model wife creates problem after knowing her husband had an affair with a Swiss woman while studying in Switzerland.
‘I’m really honoured playing the lead role in my favourite writer Humayun Ahmed’s last screenplay. At the same time I regret since he is no more to watch the tele-film,’ leading model of the country Nobel told New Age.
Shooting of the physiological-romantic drama had been done in Switzerland, Nobel said. ‘In the film, I played the role of Naim while Purnima and Swiss actor Jeannine respectively played the roles of Lina and Irena. In spite of Naim’s genuine love, Lina leaves Naim when she knows about Naim’s previous affair with Swiss girl named Irena. Though Irena is already dead, Lina always imagines Irena and Naim together and thus a crisis arises in the conjugal life of model Lina and Naim.’
Nobel hopes that the tele-film, shot in spectacular locations in Switzerland, will be a good source of entertainment during the Eid festivity. ‘The audience will like the storyline. The breathtaking views of Mont Blanck, Pine Place, Lake Lemon in Geneva, Lusan, Selir the Brussi in Switzerland will be added attraction,’ he said.
Nobel further said that he had had great experience working with talented film actress Purnima and Swiss actress Jeannine. ‘Purnima is a great performer and co-artiste. It was a nice experience to work with the Swiss actor Jeannine. She is a model and also a theatre activist. She also have played really well,’ Nobel said. Jodi Bhalo Na Laage To Diyona Mon, directed by Raihan Khan, will be aired on Channel-i on Eid day noon.
Jodi Bhalo Na Laage To Diyona Mon is not the only Eid offer by Nobel. He will also play the lead role in a single episode play Traceless to be aired on Banglavision on the second day of its Eid special programme. Traceless is written and directed respectively by Tanvir Chowdhury and Babiul Alam Robi.
‘I will also appear in a game show on popular television magazine programme Ityadi, which will be aired on BTV on the second day of Eid,’ Nobel said.
