All-rounder Salma Khatun will lead the Bangladesh women’s cricket team on their tour of Ireland as the Bangladesh Cricket Board announced a 15-member squad on Sunday.
Salma will have Ayasha Rahman Shuktara as her deputy during the tour where they will participate in a tri-nation one-day international and Twenty20 international series featuring the hosts and Pakistan from Augusu 20-29 in Dublin.
Sri Lankan Oshadee Werrasinghe, the newly-appointed coach of the Bangladesh women’s cricket team, had joined the team on July 21, while Mamatha Maben is acting as the technical director of the side that will depart on August 15.
